About Satula Cycle

A neighbourhood bike shop built on honest service, skilled mechanics, and a love for everyday cycling in Tampere.

From a small workshop to Hämeenkatu

Satula Cycle opened in 2009 when founders Mikko and Laura Heinonen converted a former print shop into a bicycle workshop. The name satula — Finnish for saddle — reflects their belief that comfort and fit matter as much as the frame itself.

Today we combine retail and workshop under one roof at 14 Hämeenkatu. We are not a chain. We choose brands we stand behind and train our staff to service what we sell.

Whether you commute to Tampere University, ride gravel around Näsijärvi, or need a child's first bike adjusted, we treat every customer the same: with patience and straight answers.
